On April 10, the Professional Development Center of the Georgian International University GIU organized a masterclass for students – ,,Labor Discrimination and Challenges in the Private Sector“.
The masterclass was led by Tamar Gabisonia – Regional Coordinator of the International Network of Lawyers for the Protection of the Rights of Employees in Europe and Central Asia.
The speaker spoke on topics such as:
- Equality and Labor Relations in Georgia;
- Norms Prohibiting Discrimination;
- Forms of Labor Discrimination;
- Systemic Problems in the Private Sector;
- Legal Framework and Practical Barriers;
- Positive Practices and Recommendations.
The public lecture was held in an interactive format.
