The meeting was hosted by Vice-Rector for Internationalization and International Students Recruitment, Ms. Selina Lee. Other representatives of administrative staff also included: Vice-Rector for Academic Process, Professor Sopiko Tevdoradze; Dean of the School of Law, Professor Tatia Dolidze; Head of Department of International Relations, Mr. Grigol Kalandadze; Head of Department for Students and Alumni Relations and Career Support Services, Mr. Mate Tsulaia; Head of Research Support Center, Ms. Rusudan Tsiklauri.
The students who are supposed to travel to various partner universities of GIU in the frames of exchange programs are as follows:
- Luka Sulakauri – INTI International University (Malaysia; 1-semester program)
- Tamari Bitsadze – Sias University (China; 1-year program)
- Otari Guntsadze – Tung Wah College (Hong Kong, China; 1-semester program)
- Sofya Dzotsenidze – Sias University (China; 1-year program)
- Tika Vanishvili – Lanzhou University (China; 1-year program)
- Ana Todua – Sias University (China; 1-year program)
- Ekaterine Mshvidobadze – Shanghai University of Sport (China; 2-year MA program)
The students will receive various types of scholarships, including the special scholarship which was created by the owner of Georgian International University GIU, President Kang Zheng.
