Georgian International University GIU announces a competition for its staff (administrative, academic, and invited personnel) to participate in international mobility at the University of Economics and Management in Bratislava, with 2 available quotas.
The competition will be held in three stages:
Stage I: Submission and review of application documents
Stage II: English language testing and/or interview
Stage III: Demonstration lecture and/or presentation on a selected topic
Candidates wishing to participate in the exchange program must submit the following documents:
- Application for participation in the exchange program
- Copies of diplomas
- Relevant certificate from the university
- Motivation letter (in both Georgian and English)
- A document confirming English language proficiency at the B2 level (if such a document is unavailable, English proficiency may be assessed through a university test and/or interview in English)
- CV (in both Georgian and English)
- 1 or 2 recommendation letters (issued by the dean of the relevant school, program director, and/or another person familiar with the candidate’s academic or professional activities)
- Other documents confirming skills and achievements that may be relevant for the specific competition (certificates of participation in conferences, trainings, masterclasses, and other professional activities)
Document submission for participation in the exchange program will take place from November 7 to November 17, 2025.
The English language test and/or interview will be held on November 19, and the demonstration lecture and/or presentation will be held on November 20.
During the first stage, submitted documents will be reviewed.
Candidates advancing to the second stage will take a test (passing threshold: 15 points out of 30) and/or an interview in English (passing threshold: 8 points out of 15).
Candidates whose English proficiency is at least B2 level will advance to the third stage, where they will deliver a demonstration lecture and/or presentation on a selected topic before the commission (passing threshold: 8 points out of 15).
