Georgian International University GIU announces a competition for the bachelor’s degree programs in Business Administration and Law (I, II, III, and IV years) as well as master’s degree programs in Criminal Law, Private Law, and Business Administration for Georgian and international students. The competition aims to select students for international mobility at the University of Economics and Management in Bratislava with 3 quotas (2 quotas for credit-based mobility and 1 quota for a training program).
The competition will be held in three stages:
Stage I: Submission and review of application documents
Stage II: English language test
Stage III: Presentation on a selected topic
Candidates who wish to participate in the exchange program must submit the following documents:
- Application for participation in the exchange program
- A copy of the bachelor’s degree (for master’s students)
- Academic transcript
- Relevant certificate from the university
- Motivation letter (in both Georgian and English)
- A document certifying English proficiency at the B2 level (if such a document is unavailable, the candidate’s English proficiency will be assessed through a university test)
- CV (in both Georgian and English)
- 1 or 2 recommendation letters (issued by professors)
- Other documents that certify additional skills and achievements, which might be important for candidate selection (documents proving participation in conferences, trainings, masterclasses, and other specific activities).
Documents for participation in the exchange program will be accepted from November 7, 2025, to November 24, 2025 (English language testing will take place on November 26, and the presentation will be held on November 27).
The first stage will involve reviewing candidates’ documents. Candidates who pass the second stage will undergo an English language test (the passing threshold is 15 points out of a maximum of 30 points). The candidates who pass the second stage will be considered eligible for the third stage if their English proficiency is at least at the B2 level. In the third stage, candidates will present on a selected topic to the commission (the passing threshold is 8 points out of a maximum of 15 points). The commission’s work will be documented in the form of minutes.
