The Rector of Georgian International University GIU, Ms. Eli Elisashvili, took part in the Asia–Pacific Regional Conference of the International Association of University Presidents (IAUP), held in Malaysia.
The conference was organized under the topic “Global Connections, Collective Growth” and served as an important international forum bringing together leading university leaders to promote cooperation, innovation, and sustainable development in the field of higher education.Within the framework of the conference, the Rector of GIU held high-level business meetings with rectors of universities from various countries. As a result of these meetings, Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) were signed in the areas of student exchange, academic mobility, joint educational programs, and research collaboration.
As part of the conference program, the Rector also paid an official visit to INTI International University, a co-organizer of the conference, where an official meeting was held with the university’s Vice-Chancellors. This meeting resulted in the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding.
The Rector’s visit aimed to strengthen the university’s strategic objectives, including the development of international academic integration, the expansion of global cooperation, and the positioning of Georgian International University GIU within the international higher education landscape.
