On June 20, 2025, the Georgian International University (GIU) successfully hosted its annual International Scientific Conference, which has now become a distinguished academic tradition. This year’s event brought together leading professors, researchers, and experts from various countries, serving as an exceptional platform for multi-sectoral dialogue on one of the most pressing global developments—Artificial Intelligence (AI).

The conference was officially opened by GIU’s Rector, Professor Eliso Elisashvili, and featured an outstanding panel of Keynote Speakers, including:

  • Assoc. Prof. Sezai Caglayan (OMU, Turkey / University of Leicester, UK), who delivered insights on current challenges in Technology Law;
  • Prof. Dr. Sharad Kumar (UNICAF, Metaculty, India), who addressed themes of Ethics in Innovation and Corporate Sustainability;
  • Dr. Zviad Gabisonia, GIU’s strategic partner and USAID expert in AI Law and Policy, who contributed with his expertise on the legal and policy dimensions of artificial intelligence.

The conference was structured around thematic sessions, as follows:

Session I: Law, Politics, Social Sciences, and Artificial Intelligence

This session fostered academic debate on interdisciplinary themes, including:
