Category News
On April 1, a masterclass titled  ,,Childhood Trauma and Personal Boundaries” was held at the Georgian International University GIU.

,,Childhood trauma”  has a significant impact on an individual’s psychological development and formation, as well as on their behavioral patterns and emotional well-being throughout life.

Childhood trauma often operates subtly yet powerfully, influencing our emotions, decisions, relationships, the formation of personal boundaries, and specific behaviors.

The masterclass covered important topics such as the formation of trauma in early childhood, its impact in adulthood, how it affects self-esteem and relationships, and how to protect and develop healthy personal boundaries, among others.

The masterclass was led by Nana Gogichashvili, PhD in Psychology and professor at GIU.

The speaker provided numerous practical examples, which made the event even more engaging and relevant.

The meeting was initiated and organized by the GIU student club  ,,Archive of Mind” and the Department of Student and Alumni Relations and Career Support.
