GIU’s participation served to enhance the university’s international visibility and create new opportunities to increase its involvement in European research grant projects. As part of the event, Rusudan Tsiklauri participated in bilateral meetings and thematic discussions with representatives of universities and research centers from various European countries (Germany, Cyprus, Belgium, Italy, Luxembourg, Spain, Finland, Turkey, Greece, Malta).
During the meetings, he introduced GIU’s institutional grant priority areas and discussed opportunities for future cooperation. As a result, online negotiations were planned, aimed at deepening the partnership both within the framework of Horizon Europe Cluster 2, as well as using other international grant platforms.
Participation in this event significantly strengthened GIU’s international positioning and created new perspectives for the university’s involvement in European research grant projects.
