Representatives of Georgian International University GIU took part in the two-day final event of the Erasmus+ capacity building project STEM4HUMANITIES, hosted by Mykolas Romeris University in Vilnius, Lithuania.
On October 20, 2025, the project’s concluding meeting was held, during which partner universities discussed project results, achievements, and perspectives for future cooperation. GIU was represented in Vilnius by Associate Professor Grigol Kalandadze, Head of the International Relations Department and Project Manager. The meeting was also attended online by Professor Zoia Adamia, another Project Manager from GIU.
The second day of the event, October 21, was fully dedicated to the international scientific interdisciplinary conference titled “STEM4HUMANITIES for Innovation and Social Change.” During the first session, Mr. Grigol Kalandadze delivered a presentation on a topic: “Progress Achieved by Georgian International University (GIU) within the Framework of the STEM4HUMANITIES Project.” His speech focused on the main achievements and contributions of the GIU team to the project’s success.
In the following session, Ms. Zoia Adamia presented a paper titled “Beyond the Project: STEM4HUMANITIES as a Tool to Strengthen the Social and Educational Inclusion of Ukrainian Refugees in Georgia.” Her presentation highlighted the practical implementation of the project’s outcomes in addressing the real-life challenges, particularly regarding education and integration of Ukrainian refugees.
