Marine Vekua – Professor of Georgian International University GIU took part in the symposium, once again highlighting the university’s active involvement in international academic and research processes.
The aim of the event was a multidisciplinary analysis of the concept of ,,third places” and the study of initiatives and organizations that promote citizen engagement, communication, and the development of innovative ideas in informal spaces within civil society.
Professor Marine Vekua’s presentation ,,Third Places: How It Works in Georgia”, presented Georgia’s experience and practices within the framework of this concept.
