On May 5-6, 2023, a volleyball championship was held at tradition, was held. Georgian International University.
In the international championship, in which teams from Georgia, Ukraine, Armenia, India participated, GIU student volleyball team also took part and took the fourth place.
Before the start of the final match, GIU Chancellor – Eli Elisashvili gave a speech to the teams participating in the championship.

The event was organized by GIU and Georgian Volleyball Club GVC, together with Polish partners.
After the final match, the head of the relations with students and alumni and career support service of GIU – Mate Tsulaia and the president of the Georgian volleyball club – Monika Jaranoswka gave prizes to the teams participating in the championship and named the best players.
