Georgian International University GIU hosted a series of workshops within the framework of the “Horizon Europe” program. The first meeting, held on March 5, aimed to identify grant-related priorities by the university’s academic staff, taking into account institutional strengths and strategic directions.
On March 12, GIU welcomed Ms. Tamar Berberashvili, the Contact Point of the Horizon Europe National Office of Georgia, who provided a comprehensive overview of funding opportunities available under Cluster 2. The session was conducted in an interactive format, enabling participants to engage actively in the discussion.
The primary objective of these workshops was to determine priority calls aligned with the university’s capacities and to explore opportunities for participation in announced grant projects.
This process enhances GIU’s involvement in international research initiatives and strengthens its contribution to global scientific collaboration.
