On December 10, an inspirational meeting ,,Conversations about Georgian wine and not only…” was held within the framework of the Bachelor’s Program in Tourism at the School of Business, Social and Human Sciences of the Georgian International University GIU.
The meeting was led by Mr. Irakli Cholobargia – Wine Marketing Consultant of the National Wine Agency, a leading specialist in the field.
The speaker gave a detailed overview of Georgia, as one of the oldest wine-making countries in the world, shared his views on Georgian wine, global trends and the opportunities related to the future of wine tourism. He noted that today Georgian wine has become a kind of cultural calling card of the country – it creates the first impression of Georgia and establishes connections between peoples.
