On October 27, an innovative MOOC online learning platform was presented to various stakeholders at Georgian International University GIU in the frames of a multiplier event of the Erasmus+ STEM4HUMANITIES project. The platform was developed by the university in collaboration with several European universities as a result of this EU-funded project.
The platform aims to promote modern trends of education and make STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) knowledge more accessible to the representatives of the humanities and social sciences.
Various stakeholders will be able to quickly enhance their digital competencies as well as learn to use artificial intelligence, digital transformation tools, and other modern instruments on this platform, which will help them perform their work more efficiently and creatively. It is remarkable that access to the platform will be completely free.
Project partners include: Georgian International University GIU (Georgia), University of Macerata (Italy), University of Lille (France), Ivan Franko National University of Lviv (Ukraine), Metropolitan College (Greece), research organization Innovation Hive (Greece), Mykolas Romeris University (Lithuania), and Wrocław University of Science and Technology (Poland).
During the presentation, participants discussed the capabilities of the newly created online learning platform and how it will contribute to the integration of Georgian youth into the European digital educational space.
